Today i want to update my blog. Why?? because i see my housemate has busy update their own blog i think. (Terpengaruh maybe) ngeh3..what i would like to write for this entry is about what we have learned last week.. i would like to share to all of you about PESTEL analysis. Sound like interesting right? hehehe..
What is PESTEL analysis?? hurmmm..Using a PESTEL analysis is one of the way how to evaluate the external environment for a company. i think PESTEL analysis can be a simple or effective tool to identify the key factors in the macro-environment.
There are three aim or objective of doing PESTEL analysis that i have found from the internet..hihihi
- find out the current external factors affecting an organization
- identify the external factors that may change in the future;
- to exploit the changes (opportunities) or defend against them (threats) better than competitors would do.
- Political - tax policy, fiscal policy, tariff and the strength of institutions such as the federal banking system.
- Economical - include the general economic climate and specific factors such as interest rates, exchange rates, inflation rate and unemployment rate.
- Social - include the societal values, attitudes, cultural factors, and lifestyles that impact businesses as well as demographic factors such as the population size, growth rate and age distribution.
- Technological - include the pace of technology change and technical developments that have the potential for wide - ranging effects on society such as genetic engineering and nanotechnology.
- Environmental - weather, climate, climate change and associated factors like water shortages.
- Legal - these factors include the regulations and laws with which companies must comply such as consumer laws, labor laws, antitrust laws and occupational health and safety regulation.
i think thats all for this entry, till we meet again on the next entry..wait until i have mood to write down back..hehe :)
